The nature of the ADE/s project is inherently an interdisciplinary one. Here are some of our favorite collaborators, friends of ADE/s, and sources of inspiration.

The Critical Ecology Lab

The Critical Ecology Lab is group of people using their skills—lived experience, scientific training, and creative practice— to ask questions and inform others about how the invisible, unjust systems shaping our lives have brought about the current environmental crises.

Cultured Data Symposium

The growing digitization of the cultural record and the explosion of new data generation, collection, and analysis practices create a new state of cultured data: culture as data, and data as a driver of culture. Our symposium examines this emerging condition, considering both how analytic techniques enable new understandings of culture, and how the proliferation of data in everyday life changes how culture is produced, distributed, and influenced.

Jessica Corman

Assistant Professor, University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Jessica is the principal investigator on the STOICH project. She studies nature through the lens of chemistry.

Hal Halvorson

Assistant Professor, University of Central Arkansas. Hal is a co-principal investigator on the STOICH project. He studies ecological stoichiometry of aquatic food webs and is particularly fascinated by how shifts of resource stoichiometry due to environmental change can affect consumers and ecosystem functions.

Vaughn Bell

Vaughn Bell (she/they) is an artist focusing on the complexities and paradoxes of human interactions with places, natural forces and other species.

Amy Krist

Associate Professor, University of Wyoming. Amy is a co-principal investigator on the STOICH project. Amy and her lab use a stoichiometric perspective to address topics ranging from the biology of invasive species and parasite-host interactions to the ecology of alpine lakes and the consequences of organismal policy level.

Eric Moody

Assistant Professor, Middlebury College. Eric is a co-principal investigator on the STOICH project. His research is focused on linking organismal trait variation to nutrient storage and fluxes in organisms to ecosystems.

Catherine Wagner

Assistant Professor, University of Wyoming. Katie is a co-principal investigator on the STOICH project. Her lab uses genetic and ecological data to study the evolution of biodiversity.
